IFIP TC11 SEC 2026 & WISE 2026 Conferences
Social Events
The conference will include a number of social events that all SEC/WISE delegates are invited to.
Tuesday 9th June
We will host a reception at 16:30-18:30 in the foyer area. Canapes and drinks (alcoholic and soft) will be served. During the reception we will also have a First Nations Cultural Artefacts exhibition providing an opportunity to engage with examples of the tools and materials used by Australian Aboriginal people for thousands of years.
Wednesday 10th June
Following the afternoon break we will walk a short distance (approximately four minutes) to the Perth Mint for a tour. Delegates will need to leave promptly with the first group departing the hotel at approximately 15:25. The tour will conclude at approximately 17:00 to allow delegates to return to hotels if preferred.
The conference dinner is scheduled for 19:00 with a three course meal accompanied by alocoholic and soft drinks.
Thursday 11th June
We will host a farewell sundowner at 14:30-16:30 in the foyer area (a 'sundowner' is an Australian tradition of drinks at the end of the day – yes, we’re doing it a little early, but it is winter!). Drinks (alcoholic and soft) will be served together with the afternoon break.
During the sundowner event, we will host a Corporates Compromised™ Workshop in the Mt Newman room – delegates are encouraged to participate in this workshop.
