Information Security Research: A 35-year journey

Professor Rossouw von Solms

In this presentation, Rossouw will provide a retrospective view of research in this very dynamic field of study. He will highlight how the field has evolved over this period, how his research foci had to adapt to stay aligned, how research approaches and methodologies changed and what influence these changes had on researchers. Obviously, by looking back might provide modern-day researchers in this field of study some guidelines on how position and plan future research endeavours.
